Renault’s all-electric Zoe gets an upgrade

Renault’s Zoe all-electric car is getting an increase in power and range as well as some improved tech, including a 10-inch driver’s display – a feature available from entry level.

It’s under the skin where things are really upgraded though. New Zoe has a more powerful 100kW motor – that can deliver a 0-100km.h time under 10 seconds and a top speed of 140km/h – and a Z.E. 50 battery which takes the car’s range up to 390 kilometres on the WLTP testing cycle. It now also offers fast direct current charging, an addition to the alternating current charging options already available at home or on the street.
