With a wealth of expertise in process automation, innovation and change management, James has been at the forefront of technology adoption. James’ industry experience has been primarily private and not-for-profit organisations within the education, workforce management, and small-to-medium enterprise.

    “Betting on Australia’s brightest scientists and engineers leading the next software revolution”.

    From Mawson, Michelle Dintner is the Portfolio Director at Mawson, an artificial intelligence venture studio, investing in Australia’s brightest software engineers to build market-defining AI startups. Working closely with co-founders of Mawson’s portfolio companies, she deep dives into their business providing guidance on capital raising and business strategy.

    Before joining Mawson, she helped hundreds of researchers along their commercialisation journey when she managed deep tech accelerator and commercialisation programs at Cicada Innovations startup incubator in Sydney.

    She also drove multiple innovation strategies throughout Asia-Pacific for Cook Medical, the world’s largest privately held medical device company, which included technology scouting missions and product development projects.

    Michelle holds both a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) and Master of Commerce (Applied Finance) from the University of Queensland.

    Dr Alexandra Posoldova is Data Scientist at Blackbook.ai, Australia’s largest single focus Automation consulting company that specialise in Artificial Intelligence, RPA and Intelligent RPA. Passionate about AI, Alexandra works closely with clients helping them to find patterns in their data, derive insights and predict future directions.

    As AI projects are not only about developing Machine Learning models but also about deployment of the solution, Alexandra is advocate for CI/CD processes and establishing good coding practices to ensure flawless customer experience. After finishing her PhD in data science, where she designed recommendation engine combining content and collaborative approaches, she worked for multiple companies and AI projects on variety of AI tasks ranging from natural language processing, classification to time series predictions.

    Alexandra is also passionate IEEE volunteer, world’s largest technical professional organisation. As Vice-Chair of IEEE Queensland, she drives local committee of volunteers to deliver quality events on variety of technical topics. In 2019, she started IEEE Blockchain&IoT group to embrace emerging technology space, first IEEE group focused on cutting edge technology in Australia.
