  • Connected and Automated Vehicles: When, Where, How? | Webinar
    All day
    05/02/2020

Join us for our next online webinar

For the first webinar of 2020 we’re taking on the question:

Connected and Automated Vehicles: When, Where, How?

Our industry has been working toward connected and automated vehicle technologies for years, and while we’ve seen extraordinary strides, there have also been a lot of missed deadlines. This webinar will explore some of the realities, opportunities, and challenges of CAVs, both technologically and from the community perspective.

We’re delighted to announce our first panellist, Dr Michael Milford, Professor at the Queensland University of Technology, as well as Australian Research Council Future Fellow, Microsoft Research Faculty Fellow and Chief Investigator at the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision.

Michael Milford conducts interdisciplinary research at the boundary between robotics, neuroscience and computer vision. His research models the neural mechanisms in the brain underlying tasks like navigation and perception to develop new technologies in challenging application domains such as all-weather, anytime positioning for autonomous vehicles.
