MTAiQ, as an ARIP Partner, networks at Innovation Hubs on the Sunshine Coast

MTAiQ, Australia’s 1st Automotive Innovation Hub, is a Partner of Advance Queensland’s – Advancing Regional Innovation Program (ARIP) and an active member of the Queensland Innovation Ecosystem. The ARIP Program aims to turn our regions into hubs for innovation and enterprise.

Chad Renando, University of Southern Queensland – Australia PhD Candidate & Founder of Startup Status stated that, “An innovation ecosystem can be considered as roles and functions. Roles are filled by people and organisations and include investor, media, co-working space, university, and government. Functions are performed by roles and include providing access to talent, mentoring, providing capital, developing policy, and building infrastructure.”

On Friday 1st of March 2019, Sophie Richardson, Andrea Lomax, Justin Thiang, Mark McCrystal, Nuwan Fernando, Paul Van Cuylenburg, Sushan Jude of Logan City Council & Innov8 Logan with Celeste Alcaraz, Lecturer at Griffith University/Yunus Innovation Program Manager and Colette Torrance, Redland City Council Innovation & Entrepreneurship Strategic Partnership Advisor met up on the Sunshine Coast.

Nathan Nguyen, Community Manager from MTAiQ, took the MTA Queensland bus on a road trip to the Sunshine Coast, to visit the Peregian Digital Hub, University of the Sunshine Coast Innovation Centre and the Smart Centre Living Lab, Maroochydore to network.
