MTA Queensland Announces Myriad Design
From the 16th to 18th of May, the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) are sponsoring one the biggest innovation events in Queensland for 2018. The Myriad Festival will be held on both levels of the exhibition centre at the Brisbane Showgrounds and will attract some of the world’s most influential thinkers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, students and investors.
The lower level of the exhibition centre has been themed ‘The Garage’ and MTA Queensland is the major sponsor of this space, which has an obvious synergy and connection to the automotive industry.
To complement this tie, MTA Queensland is incredibly excited to announce a new design created specifically for the event to capitalise on the sponsorship and ensure we have the biggest impact possible on all the attendees.
The design has been uniquely created for Myriad and represents our name and graphically depicts our commitment to emerging automotive technologies and innovation. It will ensure the public can clearly identify our sponsorship and will leave a strong, prominent and memorable impression.
“The design is a picture of the future,” said Kathy Winkcup, General Manager of MTAiQ, Australia’s first automotive innovation hub operating at MTA Queensland.
“In one image we showcase the transformation of the automotive industry and the accelerated rise of new technologies.
“In addition to this, the design highlights four specific trends – diverse mobility, autonomous driving, electrification and connectivity which are driving enormous change and are impacting on our culture and design of cities.
“We hope this design reinforces the message to the public that the automotive industry is an electrifying industry, and one that faces massive disruption and transformation, now and in the immediate years to come,” said Kathy.
Marco Ilinic is the Graphic Designer for MTA Queensland. He added, “The official MTA Queensland Myriad theming represents the Motor Trades Association’s commitment towards fostering vibrant and inspired innovative technologies within the Queensland automotive industry.”
