Mobile Tyre Shop presenting opportunities for dealers
These workshops on wheels will allow Mobile Tyre Shop to cope with the increased demand from the automotive industry, in particular, dealers.
“This market is growing so quickly, we’re about to put another 20 vans into the network because we’ve got so much fleet, government contracts, corporate business and dealers needing the service,” said Mobile Tyre Shop chief executive, Travis Osborne.
“It’s an add-value for these businesses who can get the same tyre work done without having to take vehicles off-site, and with a $5 billion tyre market, we have to expand.”
Mobile Tyre Shop has grown 300% every year since 2015 and is currently in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast with hopes to expand to major regional cities.
The only thing we offer differently is our service, our brand, and the more people who do go mobile, as other competitors come into the picture like K-Mart and Jim’s, it’s about logistics and you need scale quickly – which we already have,” Osbourne continued.
“Our vans in a dealership environment are quiet, take up very little space, and in many cases can be much quicker because from an OH&S point of view, the tyre change happens standing in one place, there’s no strain of carrying wheels across a service floor.”
