India aiming to go electric by 2030

The future of electric vehicles in India appears to be very strong, with the Indian Government pushing to make all cars in the country electric by the year 2030.

And self-driving rental car company, Zoomcar, has come to the party to help make this possible.

Electric vehicle uptake has been slow in various parts of the world due to a magnitude of reasons, including a lack of understanding of the technology behind them.

Zoomcar are looking to close this knowledge gap. The company currently has a fleet of electric and autonomous vehicles that are available for hire throughout India. The hope is that customers will trial this technology and become more familiar with the features and technology, making EVs and autonomous vehicles more appealing to the public.

The goal of Zoomcar is to make the future of mobility more connected, shared and powered by zero-emission technology.
