BMW Announces Electric Scooter For Australia
Automotive manufacturer BMW has confirmed that its all-new CE 04 electric scooter will make its way to the Australian market from early next year.
The latest model in BMW’s venture into vehicle electrification, the CE 04 comes equipped with a 8.9kWh battery and a magnet electric motor providing 31kW output and 62Nm torque, delivering 130 km of range and 120km/h top speed.
With a focus on delivering new transportation options for urban living, BMW says their latest electrified vehicle will provide the very best of BMW innovation.
“The BMW CE 04 is our new electric star for the city. It combines an e-drive with emotion and motorcycling fun. The latest technology, and the best battery cells, which also provide power in the BMW iX. Just like the CE 04, all future new BMW Motorrad models for urban mobility will be pure electric,” said BMW CEO Oliver Zipse.
Among the features fitted on the CE 04 is a 10.25-inch TFT navigation screen, Automatic stability control, and a new braking system featuring BMW’s ABS Pro.
The scooter is expected to be priced from $20,350, with BMW Motorrad dealerships to get their hands on the first deliveries from early 2022.
