Australia’s first vehicle subscription company, Carbar, partners with NRMA
Carbar, Australia’s first vehicle subscription company, has partnered with the National Roads and Motorists’ Association (NRMA) to bring auto services to its customers.
Initially, the arrangement will see NRMA support Carbar subscribers through roadside assistance, with the potential to expand into additional services.
“The NRMA plays an important role in NSW, setting the agenda on auto trends and as a thought leader on the future of motoring. They also have one the most extensive roadside assistance networks in the state,” reports Des Hang, Carbar CEO and co-founder.
“We’re pleased to be able to offer this to our subscribers for extra peace of mind, and look forward to working with the NRMA on other services we may be able to partner on in the future.”
Carbar entered the Sydney market mid-2019. Since expanding, the company has seen its Sydney subscriber number grow by over 1000 per cent.
Peter Khoury, NRMA spokesperson said that the legacy of the NRMA is to deliver peace of mind to motorists.
“As Australia’s largest member-based organisation representing more than 2.6 million Australians, the safety of our Members is an absolute priority,” Mr Khoury said.
“Partnering with Carbar will help us ensure that their subscribers will have peace of mind every time they get behind the wheel. This is an important partnership.”
